One day I watched a Facebook reel. You know the ones where they tell you all the awful things in laundry detergent. And once I watched that and reacted with a wow emoji, I was targeted for more terrifying reels like that. And let me tell you, they worked.

I knew I had to make a change for my family. So, I studied solutions, for what seemed like forever, and decided that I can make this myself. And I did.

It was scary at first, but once I got my feet wet and tested, tried and true recipes. I felt more confident and began experimenting with more complex and focused recipes and before I knew it, All My Pretties was formed.

Deciding to open AMP was a bit stressful, I had a big list of things I wanted, because if I was going to do it, I wanted to do it right. And with a bootstrap budget, it wasn't easy.

The biggest thing on my list was to show people that I meant business, I went straight to Better Business Bureau and got accredited for my good business practices, and then to Leaping Bunny to get accreditted for cruelty free beauty. I took Indigenous Entrepreneurship at SaskPolyTech and Ontario's IndiTech to help with my day to day online presence.

There are so much bad products in the world already. I want to contribute something good. Something that will help someone. Focused skincare. I wanted to help with the sensitive skin the my family is burdened with, or oily skin that I deal with daily. You can see big changes from just one soap.
The way I see it is even if you change out one thing in your daily routine that will make your life healthier, then that's a lot. Because change doesn't happen all at once, it happens in little steps that add up.
